Smokehouse Islington opened its doors in August 2013 to much critical acclaim. We’ve won our fair share of plaudits but our philosophy is still the same. Offer the best and most original smoked and grilled food in London, have the best beer list in London (20 on tap, 60 in the bottle) and source wine from small family-owned vineyards only.
We work with the best farms in the UK and butcher our meat on site to create a specials board bursting with coal-grilled prime cuts and slow-cooked specialities.
So what’s on your plate?
Our fish is delivered daily from Cornish markets and caught on day boats.
Our meat changes weekly with carcases arriving from the best farms in the UK.
Fruit and vegetables arrive fresh from Keveral Farm, Cornwall and Natoora greengrocer, Chiswick.
We grill over charcoal and roast and smoke using sustainably sourced English oak.
